When you think of sports do you only think of team sports such as, baseball, football, and basketball? Or do you think of individual sports such as, tennis, golf, and gymnastics? There are many different views on sports, but the preparation, hard work, and dedication that goes into all of these sports are equal. If an athlete wants to be successful, either in a team or individual sport, he/she must have those three goals in mind. Please comment and let me know if you agree or disagree. I want to hear your opinions.
Hi Joe,
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in high school I played volleyball and badminton. I agree that with any sport that you participate in, it takes all three of those goals to be successful. Volleyball is a team sport and badminton can be played as singles or doubles, so I see both perspectives of playing as a team or individually. As a team, you really need to know how to work with other players but I think the most important part of playing as a team is communication. If you are not able to communicate with your team members efficiently, then it isn't teamwork. Playing individually is a bit different. You are not relying on others but others are relying on you to do well. Nonetheless, whether it is a team or individual sport, you should always try your best.
